Exciting new career opportunity for a Marketing Executive to join our award-winning Marketing team in RSA & 123 Dublin.

This Marketing Executive will be based in 123.ie, one of Ireland’s leading direct insurance providers, obsessed with delivering brilliant customer experiences. The world of insurance can be perceived as a bit slow-moving but as an Insurance start-up of 20 years young, the 123.ie culture is young, dynamic, challenging and customer-obsessed.

The successful Marketing Executive will be parachuted into a crack team of fun-loving and hard-working Marketing, Sales and Customer Services professionals whose focus is on collaboration and using their smarts to win over and retain customers.

You’ll directly support a close-knit team of digital and traditional marketers as well as liaising with our 123.ie Sales, Customer Care and other internal teams including those within the RSA Ireland business.

The Marketing Executive will also be an active contributor to partner agencies in the areas of Email marketing, Loyalty Programs and Creative. The successful candidate will also be responsible for assisting in the development and roll-out of marketing plans to support reaching brand and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling and coordinating all customer care and sales queries regarding marketing activity.
  • Budget administration and organizing POs/invoice approval to ensure timely/accurate payments within the budget plan and within the month.
  • Managing Marketing’s generic email inboxes and responsible for actioning all enquiries.
  • Campaign management to support Home, Motor and Travel insurance products including all media channels
  • Managing organic social media channels which means regular posting around Loyalty, Products, CSR, Paid Media Sponsorships, Competitions and the co-ordination marketing-side thereof. Own the social media calendar with a view to maximizing audience engagement and organic reach.
  • Where appropriate, own social media community management. Monthly reporting on social media sentiment and social media activity. Maintaining and coordination the owned/earned social media calendar.
  • Redesigning creative assets and proposing content for owned social media, direct mail and any other creative assets on an ad hoc basis.
  • Content ideation and creation for the 123.ie blog and maintaining the social media calendar
  • Managing the Loyalty program from a day-to-day perspective
  • Liaise with the Loyalty agency to update and fresh the offer roadmap monthly, follow-up on execution, translate the impact of each offer into commercial metrics e.g. redemption rates.
  • Troubleshoot loyalty customer issues with internal and external parties.
  • Responsible for ad hoc social and email comms around weather events and current affairs (Brexit). Owns the social media monitoring crisis tool.
  • Assisting the broader marketing team with ad hoc projects and ongoing programs
  • Managing the Email program for Acquisition/Retention and Loyalty. More specifically;
  • Propose new subject lines, copy or creative for existing email templates.
  • Ensure circulation lists are up to date and managed in line with GDPR. Liaise with Data Analytics team for such requests and ensure the data is clean.
  • Report on email performance metrics such as Open rates, Click Through Rates, Conversions/Redemptions, Traffic, etc.

Requirements:

  • Degree-level qualification in Marketing or Business (Level 8 and 2.1 Minimum)
  • 2-3 years of work experience in a Business or Marketing environment
  • Social Media marketing experience - particularly owned and earned social media
  • Experience of email systems a big advantage
  • A keen sense of customer experience - both of internal and external customers
  • A self-starter and enjoys problem-solving / trouble-shooting
  • Ambitious, curious and keen to learn. Formal and on-the-job training will be provided
  • Great attention-to-detail
