Risk Conduct Manager - 12 month Fixed Term Contract

What this job is really like:

You will be responsible for the oversight from a compliance perspective of all aspects of customer protection and conduct risk compliance across 123.ie. You will also support the Head of Conduct Risk Compliance.  This role involves managing regulatory breaches and CPC Error and maintaining said logs.  A key part of this role will be to ensure that the business is positioned to meet its obligations in relation to the management of conduct risk including conducting monitoring to assess the firm’s compliance with all conduct risk requirements.  An important part of the role will be to work closely with the business to ensure appropriate marketing material is published and support the Head of Conduct Risk Compliance in the implementation of an effective customer culture across all part of the business including RSAII, 123.ie and RSANI. You will work closely with all business functions including Marketing, IT, Change Control, Sales and Customer Service.  Key requirement is awareness of regulatory requirements for the business (e.g. Consumer Protection Code, Minimum Competency Code, Renewal Regulations, CPRA)

Jobholders are typically responsible for:

  • Maintenance of control logs for all Conduct Risk requirements including controls and control owners.
  • Supporting the Head of Conduct Risk Compliance in identification of all regulatory change in relation to Conduct Risk compliance and implementation of same.
  • Working with the business to implement changes to conduct risk controls arising from regulatory change or business change.
  • Recording and addressing all breaches of Conduct Risk requirements.
  • Reviewing and advising on initiatives and projects to identify and mitigate Conduct Risk.
  • Conducting monitoring to assess the firm’s compliance with all conduct risk requirements.
  • Writing up compliance monitoring reports and tracking actions to closure.
  • Reviewing marketing material and other customer documentation to ensure it meets all regulatory requirements.
  • Review and create training material for the business in relation to Conduct Risk compliance

Size & Scope:

  • The job holder reports to the Head of Conduct Risk Compliance

Jobholder Requirements

  • The jobholder will be office based in Dublin but may be required to travel to the Galway occasionally
  • Insurance and/or Compliance qualifications
  • 3 years plus relevant experience in a compliance environment
  • Good knowledge of the Conduct Risk regulatory framework
