Role Profile
This role will establish a customer proposition and campaign capability within RSA. The role analyses RSA customer data across each of its channels, develops customer propositions to address the opportunities identified and packages them into campaigns for delivery to the channels.

We would expect the candidate to have a good attention to detail as well as strong creative acumen, from brief writing to ideating and critiquing creative ideas. Agency/design management and communicating with clarity is a must.


The role will develop a series of product propositions with initial focus on personal line products that will be available for use across each of the three RSA sales channels. The propositions should be targeted at specific business challenge and opportunities that emerge from discussions with the partners, channel leads and/or the results of the customer data analysis.

The ideal candidate should also have experience in managing the creative process (from agency briefing through to media planning) both for propositions they have developed for GTM strategies or alternatively for high profile products / brand campaigns as required by the business. This is a fast paced, role which requires are self-starter with great business and creative eye for detail.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Your primary responsibility is to start to develop customer propositions and customer campaigns that are available to channels to grow profitable RSA business either through the partners or direct to customers The campaigns wil focus on generating new customer business and / or strengthening the retention of existing customer business. 
  • Strong relationship building, and management skills will be required. Closely working with channel leads, finance, marketing, sales and operations, to ensure successful delivery
  • Develop a portfolio of propositons and campaigns and ensure it is in a constant improvement status 
  • Be informed of the propositions that are used by direct and non direct compettiors in the market, the customer trends towards campaigns and their applicability to RSA channels
  • Be prepared to present professionally and work closely with busienss partners of RSA to implement the customer proposition campaigns
  • Robust governance processes to monitor impact of the proposition and campaigns, identify the reasons for the results and learn as RSA capability progresses.
  • Manage the effective development of the customer campaign, involving finance, marketing, sales, operations, claims and underwriting colleagues, to ensure RSA achieves the required service and performance.
  • Manage external creative, media and design agencies and partners accordingly from digital to ATL requirements for campaigns, PR and sponsorships.
  • Proactively develop customer data analysis, sales and market / business knowledge, apply best practice techniques and tools to maximise your performance and exploit RSA’s investment in your training and development.
  • Actively manage the feedback from channel leads
  • Provision of quality customer proposiitons and campaigns to the channels
  • Adoption of ther campaigns and success in market
  • Provide an annual campaign calandar for each partner and direct channel updated quarterly detailing the objective, mechanic and objective of each campaign
  • Strengthen relationships with busienss partners and direct channels to imporve proposiiton development as a core RSA capability
  • Monthly reporting detailing progress against plans with agreed actions to mitigate.
