QA Analyst 12-month (Open to Internal applicant only)

At RSA/123.ie, you will have the opportunity to develop and establish quality assurance standards and measures within the organization. You will be integrated into a high performing Squad of cross functional resources aiming to improve our existing products & identify opportunities for new products using data & analytics.

You will be working to test exciting new applications & features being delivered to customers in an Agile fashion using manual and automated test methodologies. This includes developing test plans and test cases using TestRail, and ensuring the team adhere to our QA processes from the Concept phase right through to the Maintenance phases of the delivery lifecycle.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce appropriate Test Plans, Test Cases and Test Data based on customer and product requirements and ensure they are followed.
  • Ensure QA processes and procedures are documented, understood, and followed.
  • Propose QA team quality procedures, standards, and specifications.
  • Produce test progress status and reports using TestRail & circulate to key stakeholders.
  • Execute manual tests when required to ensure the delivered software meets the Acceptance Criteria of the Story/Task.
  • Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts and Product Owners to ensure the successful implementation of changes and releases.
  • Be an active participate in the Agile Scrum ceremonies.
  • Liaise with the development team to ensure resolution of system defects using Jira as a defect management tool.
  • Automate tests and maintain tests where appropriate using Microsoft Playwright.


Requirements:

  • A drive for results, takes ownership of tasks and overcomes obstacles.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • A strong eye for quality, and knowledge and proven experience in software QA methodologies, tools, processes, and automation

 

Regulatory Requirements:

  • If this role is defined as a "controlled function" by the Central Bank Reform Act 2010 Regulations 2011. Any appointment will be conditional on the company being satisfied that you meet the requirements as set out in the Fitness & Probity standards issued in this Act.
