Digital Data Analyst

The Data Analyst will play a key role in understanding our customers and performance drivers. You bring data to life – partnering with collaborators to add insight and analysis to key decision-making processes. Working as part of an agile team you will help the team understand the performance of our customer journeys and impact the team is making on our key business goals.

As part of a cross functional agile squad, you will delve into customer behaviour, providing insight into performance and formulating actionable recommendations to optimise key customer journeys. The customer is at the heart of our business, you will be responsible for growing the teams' understanding of our customer and ensuring we always put their experience first. Using a range of visualisation and data sources you will be tasked with analysing and identifying new opportunities and efficiencies for the digital business, helping the team to make data driven decisions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collate data and insights from a range of visualisation tools and data sources to reach the most accurate conclusions.
  • Use data and logic to understand customer behaviours and performance drivers to develop actionable insights.
  • Formulate recommendations for the business from onsite experiment reviews or deep dives on customer behaviours.
  • Effectively communicate and support recommendations to the wider team and relevant collaborator.
  • Encourage a data led approach to the decision-making process within the digital team.
  • Work closely with the agile squad to understand what impact initiatives have on customer experience and how we can initiate the next best action.
  • Report on progress against key performance indicators assigned to your agile squad.

 

Who are we looking for?

  • 3+ years commercial experience in a customer focussed analytical, statistical or quantitative role driving business decisions.
  • Must have hands on experience with data analysis tools, specifically advanced proficiency with Web Analytics Tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Hotjar), Excel, SQL
  • Previous track record of working across a complex organisation.
  • Previous track record of managing a variety of partners.
  • Previous track record of working with data to create business insights and recommendations.
  • Previous experience working in Agile teams to make data driven decisions.

 

Regulatory Requirements:

  • If this role is defined as a "controlled function" by the Central Bank Reform Act 2010 Regulations 2011. Any appointment will be conditional on the company being satisfied that you meet the requirements as set out in the Fitness & Probity standards issued in this Act.
