Growth Marketing Manager

As Growth Marketing Executive, you will lead, develop, and execute a data-driven growth marketing strategy to drive New Business growth. As a key player in the organisation, the Growth Marketing Executive will establish Growth initiatives through customer propositions and promotions resulting in campaigns, predominantly for our direct brand. is a fun place to work so if you feel you can roll up your sleeves, and get some of the best experience of your career than this role is for you.

We want you to really get to know our customers. We need you to review and analyse our customer data and see what we can offer to make them tick. You will analyse our customer data through channels and journeys – help develop offers, promotions, and propositions to grow our customer base. We would expect you to be good with numbers, have excellent attention to detail in analysing digital data and journeys, as well as strong creative acumen to translate insights into good creative briefs. Communicating with clarity and confidence to agency partners, within the team and with stakeholders is a must.

The ideal candidate should also have experience in managing the Go To Market (GTM) process - both for propositions and offers they have developed or alternatively, for high profile products / brand campaigns as required by the business. These could be for Brand communications (ATL), website and organic channels, paid media, PPC, CRM and Email and while you will not be responsible for these channels, you will work closely with marketing colleagues to manage GTM plans to roll out campaigns. You will be good not only with digital and CMS updates, but ideally, great negotiation skills to manage internal stakeholders as well as setting up new channel partners to help grow our new business. This is a fast-paced, role in a dynamic trading environment which requires a high energy, self-starter with confidence, great business acumen and creative eye for detail.

Strong relationship-building and management skills will also be needed as you will be engaging with leadership teams and on a day-to day basis, working closely with channel leads, finance, marketing, sales customer care and operations, to ensure successful delivery. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Your primary responsibility is to start to develop in life products, customer propositions, and manage new / existing channels to reach new customers and grow profitable business either through our partners or direct to customers.
  • The campaigns will focus on generating new customer business and / or strengthening the retention of existing customer business including cross- and upsell support. 
  • Develop a portfolio of in life offers, propositions, and campaigns, ensuring it is in a constant improvement status.
  • Develop new channels of growth with our sponsorship partners to their base.
  • Be informed of the propositions available for use in RSA (RSA Group, Intact), their impact and applicability to the Irish business.
  • Be informed of the propositions that are used by direct and non-direct competitors in the market, the customer trends towards campaigns and their applicability to RSA channels
  • Be a guardian in our Agile Squads for new digital / product launches. Understanding the digital landscape and analysing GA & customer data is preferable.
  • Manage the effective development of the business cases involving finance, marketing, sales, operations, claims and underwriting colleagues, to ensure RSA / achieves the required performance.
  • Robust governance processes to monitor impact of the proposition and campaigns, identify the reasons for the results and share/adopt learning.
  • Liaise, when necessary with external creative, media and design agencies and partners accordingly from digital to ATL requirements for campaigns and grass routes sponsorships.
  • Proactively develop customer data analysis, sales and market / business knowledge, apply best practice techniques and tools to maximise your performance



  • Degree in Marketing or Business
  • 4 Year’s in a commercial role in marketing
  • Commercial Business Case building experience required
  • Knowledge of creative production development from brief writing, critiquing scripts to studio experience preferable
  • Capability/ knowledge around customer lifecycle and CRM systems a plus.
  • Analysing and interpreting complex and diverse data and information
  • Building relationships with internal and/or external partners
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams from across the business to design, develop, implement and/or deliver a customer proposition.
