Marketing Communications Specialist

Come join us in 123.ie, Ireland’s first digital insurance company. You will join a dynamic, fun, fast paced team that will support you and take your career to the next level. The Marketing Communications Specialist role involves managing the delivery of a range of marketing communications projects and activities for both 123.ie & RSA Insurance Ireland.

You’ll be responsible for a variety of communications including Campaigns, Creative ATL agency management, lifecycle management including DM, CMS management for 123.ie & RSA updates, Go to Market plans and execution, B2B broker engagement, communications and occasionally some B2B events. 

You will manage external agencies, work with marketing and business colleagues, and coach marketing colleagues, to ensure effective delivery.123.ie and RSA is a fun place to work so if you feel you can roll up your sleeves and get some of the best experience of your career than this role is for you.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• B2C (123.ie) – 85% of the role
• Above the line communications: management of creative development for TV, Radio & Outdoor
• Product marketing support for in life & new propositions and products
• Lifecycle Communications support: 123.ie have over 30 journeys for a variety of products. You will be required to manage brand consistency and tone of voice across all communications
• Rewards programme management: responsible for bringing rewards partners, competitions and offers to market & management of monthly rewards communications
• Organic social: supporting marketing executive with development of copy, creative and posting for social and working with the digital agency as required
• Management of 123.ie Design Lead workload
• Supporting ad hoc design requirements
• You will be responsible for the contract for our Lead Creative agency also, from WIPs to hours reporting and performance management.
• Brand Guardian
• CMS Updates for 123.ie as required (product pages, landing pages etc)
• B2B (RSA Insurance Ireland) (15% of the role)
• Marketing Strategy & Planning including defining & executing marketing plans to enable the strategy
• Campaign Management – including developing campaign ideas and campaign planning (these are small B2B direct or trade campaigns)
• Work closely with subject matter experts to create thought leadership content
• Design of various brochures, presentations, and other assets
• Sales support when required: Understanding and editing technical insurance content for a non-technical audience
• Collate, integrate, and present information from multiple sources in a logical way and produce outputs that are meaningful and readily applicable to the business requirement.
• Taking a marketing leading role in large tender responses for broker and affinity, including cross-functional coordination, copy writing and design
• Providing communications support and go to market guidance for various projects (e.g., new products / systems) and ensure consistent implementation of the RSA brand
• In depth knowledge of the RSA brand and providing guidance on branding
• Support Marketing Executive with broker communications and website updates

 

Requirements:

• 6+ Years’ experience in B2C Marketing Communications
• Experience managing creative agencies as well as designers.
• Knowledge of creative production development from brief writing, critiquing scripts to studio experience
• Strong creative skills and design capability
• Capability around customer lifecycle and CRM systems a plus.
• Driving market engagement in a B2B (or similar) environment
• Analysing and interpreting complex and diverse data and information
• Building relationships with internal and/or external customers
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams from across the business to design, develop, implement and/or deliver a customer proposition.
