Digital Business Analyst – Dublin

Excellent new career opportunity for an experienced Digital Business Analyst to join are growing and dynamics Digital team in Dublin.

As a Digital business analyst, you play a vital role of translator and facilitator between Business, IT and Quality Assurance. You will be part of a digital team and work with squads with the purpose of creating and enhancing digital products. You will use your communication and analytical skills to enable a full understanding of the business’ current and future IT solution needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse business needs to define IT solutions
• Lead / prepare / participate in business requirements specification workshops to specify IT solutions
• Working with business representatives and users, and a variety of colleagues, to identify and understand their detailed business requirements.
• Conducting evaluation of business processes and activities to identify detailed requirements, escalating process issues and improvement opportunities to process improvement colleagues.
• Support the development of solutions and monitor performance
• Participating in the testing of IT solutions to ensure they correspond with documented specifications and business requirements.
• Support Product Owners in handling their backlogs and prioritize work to be done
• Write effective User Stories that can be used by Front End, Back End developers and Quality Assurance
• Build a solid, reusable and thorough system documentation to be used by any stakeholders

 

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in analysis (Business, Functional, Information)
• Project experience in Scrum mode
• Experience Eliciting and writing requirements
• Experience and knowledge of applications in a web environment or Mobile
• Experience and knowledge of the insurance or financial services field is an advantage
