Marketing Executive

This is a fantastic opportunity to get a head start on your marketing career. As our Marketing Exec, you’ll be working in a fast-paced, digital Insurance business across all elements of the marketing mix.

We’re looking for someone who is genuinely excited by marketing, has a ‘can-do’ attitude, possesses excellent attention to detail and is very customer friendly. Although this is a starter role and the majority of the work is support and admin (vital for the smooth running of the marketing team!), the Marketing Exec will also gain exposure to and a chance to participate in areas like creative, brand, messaging and media.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handling and co-ordinating all customer care and sales queries regarding marketing activity.
  • Handling and co-ordinating website and social media feedback to the satisfaction of the customer.
  • Managing Marketing’s email inboxes and responsible for actioning all enquiries.
  • Budget administration and organising Purchase Orders/Invoice Approval to ensure timely/accurate payments within the budget plan. A proven level of attention to detail is required.
  • Assisting with cross-sell and upsell direct mail, brochure and policy document designs.
  • Managing day-to-day CMS (Content Management System) website updates.
  • Assisting the broader marketing team with ad hoc projects and ongoing programmes including around the brand, communications, media, propositions, creative and campaigns.
  • Own the organic social media calendar with a view to maximising audience engagement and organic reach. Managing organic social media channels (Facebook, Twitter) which means regular posting around Loyalty, Product, Tactical promotions, CSR, Paid Media Sponsorships, Competitions and the co-ordination marketing-side thereof. Owns the social media monitoring crisis tool.
  • Writing articles for and updating the 123.ie blog according to the marketing roadmap and/or business requests.
  • Responsible for ad hoc social and email comms around weather events and current affairs.
  • Redesigning creative assets and proposing copy for owned social media and direct mail and any other creative assets on an ad hoc basis.
  • Manage and coordinate Compliance and Data Protection requests such as Data Subject Access Rights requests, ASAI queries, Compliance creative approvals. (Aisling)
  • Updating Marketing Reporting daily for the marketing team to steer and manage performance.
  • Managing the day-today aspects of our customer Rewards programme, troubleshooting customer issues with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Managing the Email program for Acquisition/Retention and Loyalty.
  • Propose new subject lines, copy or creative for existing email templates.
  • Ensure the contact strategy is documented and easily articulated to the business. Update the contact strategy regularly.
  • Report on email performance metrics such as Open rates, Click Through Rates, Conversions/Redemptions, Traffic, etc.

 

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Degree-level qualification in Marketing or Business (Level 8 and 2.1 Minimum) preferred
  • 2-3 years of work experience preferably in a Business and/or Marketing environment
  • A self-starter and enjoys problem-solving / troubleshooting
  • Ambitious, curious and keen to learn
  • A keen sense for great customer experience
  • A head for numbers and excellent attention-to-detail
  • Ability to work in a structured way
  • A great team-player
